Earlier this month, our family was faced with a sudden, unexpected discharge notice from the rehab facility where our mother resided. Since a return home was not an option, we had only 3 days to find another place for Mom. Needless to say, this was a very difficult and stressful time.

Fortunately, we came upon Harmony Place. We were warmly greeted by the Resident Services Director who was not only empathetic to our situation but also showed a willingness to work with us in a number of ways. Then we met with the Director of Nursing who also listened intently to our concerns and needs. Working in unison they coordinated services, obtained necessary medical equipment, and accommodated requests thus allowing for a smooth transition. They not only demonstrated a high level of professionalism and knowledge but also caring and understanding. They went the extra mile by providing the necessary reassurance, support, and sensitivity which was much needed and appreciated.

Although it is heartbreaking that our mother is unable to go back to her own home, we take comfort believing she is in a safe place and getting the care she needs. Many thanks to the staff and Harmony Place.
