What families are saying about DePaul Healthcare’s long-term care facilities in South and Central New Jersey
My mother was recently a patient at Angela Jane. Her care was excellent, the staff (everyone!) were kind, courteous, and compassionate. I was awed by the cleanliness of the facility and the warm environment. I am most grateful to you as is my mother.
The Woodview Estates’ staff and residents are indeed “family”. Care and compassion radiate not only from staff to residents but between residents. The entire staff (patient care, dietary, clerical, housekeeping, and maintenance) show concern and always extend a helping hand. They are exceptional! It is a comfort to me that my mother is able to be a member of this extended family and feel secure in her “golden years”.
I want to let you know how happy I was with the Terraces at Parke Place. My aunt received excellent care. Every staff member touched our lives by the care that they gave to her. So many nurses and aides went out of their way for to us. This is a wonder facility and I would recommend it to anyone.
Earlier this month, our family was faced with a sudden, unexpected discharge notice from the rehab facility where our mother resided. Since a return home was not an option, we had only 3 days to find another place for Mom. Needless to say, this was a very difficult and stressful time.
Fortunately, we came upon Harmony Place. We were warmly greeted by the Resident Services Director who was not only empathetic to our situation but also showed a willingness to work with us in a number of ways. Then we met with the Director of Nursing who also listened intently to our concerns and needs. Working in unison they coordinated services, obtained necessary medical equipment, and accommodated requests thus allowing for a smooth transition. They not only demonstrated a high level of professionalism and knowledge but also caring and understanding. They went the extra mile by providing the necessary reassurance, support, and sensitivity which was much needed and appreciated.
Although it is heartbreaking that our mother is unable to go back to her own home, we take comfort believing she is in a safe place and getting the care she needs. Many thanks to the staff and Harmony Place.
We are hard pressed to find words that convey just how important you all at Absecon Manor have been to us. It was very reassuring to us to know that she was safe, comfortable, and loved. Form the bottom of our hearts, our families want to thank you for all that you did for our mother during her last few months on earth. We are sure that she is watching over all of you with quiet respect.
I wanted to write this letter to express my appreciation for the care and concern my Father received as a resident of Absecon Manor during the last two plus years of his life. As far as I was able to observe, he was treated with compassion, care and concern by all of the people who attended to his needs on a daily basis. In addition, my family and I were treated with respect, courtesy and patience by the administrators and support staff.
When my Father was first transferred from the AtlantiCare to Absecon Manor, many members of the staff introduced themselves to me. They all expressed positive feelings towards my Father and a desire to make his stay in Mainland Manor as pleasant as possible. It was for this reason that my Father felt that he received special care and concern and never had any interest in being transferred to another facility.
Please share these sentiments with the staff. Please make certain that everyone knows the appreciation my family and I feel for the job they did with my Father.
